ATTORNEYS
Mary Notaris, President and Owner:
Mary is a 1991 graduate of Franklin Pierce Law Center in Concord, New Hampshire. She is admitted to practice in New Hampshire, Massachusetts and Maine. She has also been admitted to practice in Federal Courts and Bankruptcy Courts for all three states. She is a Justice of the Peace, certified mediator and certified guardian ad litem. Mary first started this practice in 1991, in Cambridge, Massachusetts. In 1994, she moved the practice to Salem, New Hampshire, when her twins were born. Mary practices in divorce and family law, with significant experience in civil unions, adoption, guardianship and other issues for non-traditional families, as well as estate planning and probate, real estate, business law, personal injury, work injury and employment discrimination.
SUPPORT STAFF
Deborah DeFelice, Business Manager:
Debbie graduated from Boston University in 1983 and received her Master’s in Business Administration from the University of Southern New Hampshire in 2003. She has extensive experience in finance and money management, having passed the series 7 exam and worked as a financial executive with Merrill Lynch. She brings her financial expertise to the practice and currently manages finances, including accounts payable, internal financial matters and collections. She also brings her insurance expertise as a claims adjuster, working with our personal injury cases on a daily basis. In between all of this, she is a mother of twins and manages a busy schedule from day to day.
Erin Battles, Legal Assistant:
Erin has worked as a legal assistant for the practice since 2000, working primarily in the areas of estate planning, family law and general litigation support. Erin is the mother of wonderful (albeit rambunctious) twin boys.
Paula M. Lanctot:
Paula has worked for the practice in various capacities since 2004, beginning as a file clerk and currently a full-time legal assistant, working on personal injury cases, family law and general support. Paula is a graduate of Hesser College with a BS in Parole and Probation, a BS in Law Enforcement and an Associates Degree in Paralegal Studies. Paula also has plans to attend law school on a full-time basis.
